Lines: 14 What's the fuss. "comp.binaries" *is* a seperate binaries hierarchy. The amount of work in having sites put !comp.binaries.all in the relevent "sys" fies is far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far less than having a name change for a whole bunch of groups, and puting the new top level distribution in every sys file on the net that wants the groups. Unless 99% of the net doesn't want binaries. While many people don't want them, and almost everybody wants some control on them, and some would like an alternate (postal) distribution for them, I don't think that 99% don't want them. -- Brad Templeton, Looking Glass Software Ltd. - Waterloo, Ontario 519/884-7473
