Lines: 27 References: Does anyone have the pinouts (and voltages) for the 3 pin connector on the Sony D-10 battery? I would like to add an external set of batteries to a D-15. (The D-15 has a connector for this optional battery, but no external battery and no specs for the connector.) What I have been able to find out so far: (pins counted from left to right, when looking at the bottom of the CD player, with connector at the top edge.) pin 1) negative ground (goes to the internal battery (-) and the external charger (-) pin 2) function unknown. + 6.8v present when charger is plugged in. Does not go to the charger directly. pin 3) function unknown. floating. no voltage present at any time. The internal battery looks like a sealed lead-acid type with two cells for 4.4v. It specs and tests at 500mah. I had assumed that one of connections would be in parallel to the internal battery, and identifcation would be easy. wrongo. thanks- --- Wolfgang Rupprecht ARPA: wolfgang@mgm.mit.edu (IP 18.82.0.114) TEL: (617) 267-4365 UUCP: mit-eddie!mgm.mit.edu!wolfgang
