Don't use the ATE, use something else! I've been working on a public domain version of ProComm for Unix called Pcomm. It runs on the AT&T Unix PC 7300 and supports: xmodem xmodem-1k modem7 ymodem ymodem-g ASCII The next release will contain external protocol selections. Pcomm v1.0 (with 4 patches) has been posted to unix-pc.sources. If you have trouble getting the source from a neighboring site, I may be able to mail it to you.
