Keywords: V&H Coordinates Message-ID: <2310@bgsuvax.UUCP> Date: 25 May 88 15:55:44 GMT Sender: daemon@bloom-beacon.MIT.EDU Organization: Bowling Green State University B.G., Oh. Lines: 17 Approved: telecom@xx.lcs.mit.edu I know where to find the official V&H coordinates, used to compute mileage for long-distance calls to calculate their price. I would like to know who calculates these, and more to the point, what equations are used to set the V&H coordinates from the location of the NNX, presumably expressed by longitude and latitude. How are the V&H coordinates computed for calls spanning less than 40 miles? Can anyone help? Can anyone suggest a source of information?
