Hubbard) Organization: Ardent Computer Lines: 10 I tried to compile emacs 18.50 (with Bob French's X11 patches) with gcc 1.22 and wound up with an emacs that would print a welcome banner but treat all input characters as if the tty was in cooked mode. Are there some special options I should pass to gcc when compiling emacs? This happened whether emacs ran under X11 or a terminal emulator. Jordan
