I just rec'd a copy of the Elm 2.0 beta today. In the
distribution notes, r$ writes that David Taylor
says this will probably be the last release of Elm.

Question:
Is this to say that because David Taylor chooses to drop
the support of Elm, there should be no more releases?

Since Elm is public domain, can't (and shouldn't) the public
issue bug releases on it's own? Dave's distribution notice says,

  "You may without additional permission from the author, distribute 
   Elm or components of Elm, with or without additions developed by 
   you or by others at no charge."

*Elm is a trademark of David Taylor
