Huh? You shouldn't need to delete a queue to change the parameters on the spooled device! If you do a STOP/QUEU/NEXT or STOP/QUEUE/RESET and then do a SET DEV/NOSPOOL , then change the params you need to change (remembering you need PHY_IO to make them /PERM), then you just do a SET DEV/SPOOL=(x,y) , and then START/QUEU. Now, if you need to move the print queue to another device, you should be able to do a START/QUEUE/ON=devname (or maybe that's an INIT/QUEUE/DEV/ON=). I've done this more times than I care to recall, but I don't think I've ever had to delete the queue! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Morris BITNET: TOM@UNCSPHVX UNC School of Public Health UUCP : ...!mcnc!ecsvax!tpmsph ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Morris BITNET: TOM@UNCSPHVX UNC School of Public Health UUCP : ...!mcnc!ecsvax!tpmsph -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
