Hi, Dear INFO-VAXers,

I am interested in knowing whether there is any public domain software
that will do something like the TEXT SEARCH FOR SYMPTOM/SOLUTION
function like in the DSIN (Digital Software Information Network).
I am interested in setting up a system like that but am not very
sure how to write the application. Specifically how to search for
words in files which match the keywords that the users entered.
It sounds like real slow if I am to search through all the files
(if I have a large number of files) for certain keywords.
