Well, I want to thank all those who responded to my question about getting the Microfiche without a binary source license. You were all very helpful, and thanks to you, I now have a list of about eight DEC sales contacts, who my sales rep has been talking to in an attempt to figure out what DEC's policy on the fiche really is. He has finally gotten it straightened out and the fiche is on its way. In fact, I have been told that all this trouble finally resulted in a call to the VMS product manager who, I am told, will be releasing some kind of document to the area sales managers explaining the 'official' policy of not requiring binary source license for microfiche to make sure this doesn't happen again to anyone. So thanks, y'all -- everyone really came through on that one. I particularly want to thank all those of you who actually called me rather than sent back E-mail. BITNET: JWMANLY@AMHERST - John W.
