It's been a long time since I've seen a published comparison of low
end hard disk drives available for the Macintosh.

I would like to get some opinions so that I have more to go on than just
the ads. I want a fast, cheap (quiet?) 40-60 meg drive.

The Applecrate 60 meg with 40 ms average access looks like a good buy. Does
anyone recommend it, or have another favorite?
