How many people |on the net plan on going to AmiExpo? Would a get together be OK? |I couldn't make it to the DevCon but Chicago's just a 6 hour drive |away. |Marco, how would you like to organize another one? ;^) Sorry, but I won't be at AmiExpo. As Felsina Software we are out of the "publishing" business. We are just "developers" now (no more shrink-wrapping, filling out COD forms, rushing to UPS, etc...:-). A-Talk III (not II as in the AmigaWorld article) will be published by OXXI. The weather-satellite program will be marketed by another company (which I can't say since we are still negotiating). One "nice" thing about being just a developer is that the "publisher" spends the time and money at shows like AmiExpo. So, it is likely that from now on I (personally) will attend only the local shows (I mean the LA area). |PS - Marco, about 2 months ago, you emailed me that A-Talk III was due |RSN. Where is it!?! In spite of all the talk on the net about |these other terminal programs, I'm still holding out waiting for |yours! The delay was mainly due to the contract negotiations and the addition of a few new features (not mentioned in the AmigaWorld article). The first item has now been taken care of. Of the second item, we have control of the coding part and the manual writing. Printing, duplicating and shipping is all out of our hands. I believe OXXI has already sent out upgrade notices to old registered A-Talk, A-Talk Plus, and MaxiComm users (or is in the process of sending them out). I belive the upgrade from A-Talk Plus to A-Talk III is $25. [To tell you the truth getting my PhD defense done, also had some impact on the delay]. I am sorry about the delay, but paraphrasing Perry, I prefer to ship a product that is "rock solid"and free of major bugs, than putting on the market something that hasn't been fully tested. I also have the "disease" of "what if we added this one more nice feature", and that also delays things.
