The `PopColours' program (source and docs) can be found on Fish Disk #43.
It uses sliders, etc. to alter screen colors in real time and appears to
be exactly what you are seeking.  Source + docs = 21K, so is a bit much to
post here.  If you cannot find Fish #43, lemme know and I'll email you a
shar of PopColours.
