Actually, the problem with executing files via NFS is not a problem
with the NFS implementation itself. The problem is that the Apollo
loader (so I was told) does not use streams (IOS) calls to open the
executable file. It used the map segment calls which bypass the IOS
type managers on which NFS is built.
