Message-ID: <3133@charon.unm.edu> Date: 26 May 88 06:28:59 GMT Reply-To: cscbrkac@unmc.UUCP (Lazlo Nibble) Organization: Studio Nibble -- One Tree Hill, New Mexico Lines: 14 Is there any way to convince Applewriter to send characters to the printer with the high bit on? My printer -- a NEC Pinwriter P2200 -- has a lot of special characters in the 128-255 range that I'd like to use but I can't seem to con Applewriter II V2.0 into sending the high bit. I know there's a lot of patches for AWriter out there, so maybe someone has one that'll do the trick. If it matters, I have a old Grappler+, which I have on the Epson settings. (The card dates from early 1983 and therefore has never even heard of 80-column text, let alone my printer! But there should be a way to pass the data through. The setup works fine for everything else.) -- Lazlo Nibble (cscbrkac@charon.unm.edu)
