As much as practical, it tries to act as a subset of GNU emacs. Mg version 2a has been submitted to comp.sources.misc. Previous versions (1a and 1b) were known as MicroGnuEmacs. (1a is in the comp.sources.unix archives, 1b was only distributed via ftp.) This release has many improvments over the previous versions, including completely rewriten key mapping, keyboard macros, and a new manual (thanks to Sandra Loosemore). Support is included for the following operating systems: BSD Unix Sys V Unix Os9/68k VMS Atari ST Amiga Primos MSDOS support was planned, but was not completed in time for this release.
