I run 1-2-3 on an IBM PS/2 mod 80, and haven't experienced
any problems with it yet.  I an not an ultra power-user of 1-2-3,
so my spreadsheets may not have gotten large enough or complex
enough yet to spring some critical bug.  This, of course, is using
release 2.01.  The hassle is that you have to use copy II pc to
move 1-2-3 onto 3.5 media for loading.  (Or have bought 1-2-3
recently).  I'm glad that the forthcoming utility disk from Lotus
will provide an authorized method of deprotecting 1-2-3 while we
wait for release 3.

About the only thing I've noticed is that after installing an 80387
in the PS/2 that a slight squeal is emitted.  The pitch and timbre
of the squeal fluctuate, depending on what the PS/2 is doing.  I
think this is what Infoworld described as "users report a
continuous beeping after installing a coprocessor".  In all
honesty, the noise is quite soft, and is pretty easily overlooked
in a moderately noisy environment.  The noise is not coming from
the speaker; it appears to emanate directly from either the '386,
'387 or one/some of the chips in the general vicinity.  This is an
older 16 MHz model 80 where the CPU is near the bottom of the case.
It's kind of neat, because one can tell what is going on just by
listening.  I don't think that the sound is related to the disks or
the power supply.
