Agreed.  Also, I'd like to point out that while we need to conserve
transmission times as much as possible, it does no good to do so at the
expense of useability.  What good is having a network if we can't
maximize its usefulness.

I know!  We'll stop posting altogether!  That'll really cut down on
transmission costs!

Let me re-state that I'm all for cutting down on transmission costs where
it doesn't interfere with using the network.
