StuffIt has certainly %become the standard on the GEnie, CIS and other Mac sections, so why not here %too? Besides, Ray Lau only requests a shareware fee if one uses StuffIt for %encoding/archiving purposes. Just out of curiosity (I'm no Mac maven...), does the Stuffit program handle ARC format compressed files? It would be nice if it did... There's been many a time when I've wanted to get text files to or from a Mac and some other system, and, while ARC has become the standard everywhere else, I have to wade thru these weird programs like Packit, Packit II, Stuffit, etc... on the Mac. I think Stuffit is a very nice program, but it'd be a useful new feature if it could work with ARC files. -- / /_ , ,_.
