Although the interface is fantastic, I find myself at a loss when I read comp.sys.mac. The software the people use seems totally foreign to me. I want to learn more. I read about the ftp site sumex-aim.stanford.edu. I looked at what that site held in the directory . WOW! But then I had no idea what to do with all this new found wealth of mac_files. They seem to be stored in HQX format that I have no clue about. but from the names, the directory seemed to contain all the initial files I want. Your assistance, in my growth as a mac_user, would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, David G. B. Wimberly p.s. reply yo me, the volume on this board is unreal.
