What about the Desktop file? Has the Resource Manager version used in releases up to System Tools 5.0 been replaced by a faster version? I understand this is done in the AppleShare(?) software, and that this Desktop INIT? CDEV? can be successfully used in System Tools 5.0. Does Apple officially support this usage, and are there any other benefits or drawbacks besides performance? Does it affect programs such as Disk First Aid, Disk Express, etc., in any way?
