--A possibility, which I haven't seen anyone else mention, is that your
resource file does not have the correct NAME. It should follow the form
<project filename>.rsrc or LightspeedC won't be able to find it at runtime
and (to borrow a well-worn phrase) will jump to the flaming pits of hell!
