What the bleep does this mean?  Whoever you are, please explain why you
sent out a forged message with my name on it, identical to a real message
from me except for the above cryptic comments.

By the way, since I'm posting anyway: from the early returns it looks
like the Frequently Asked Question this time around will be "How can I
get just the new bitmaps?"  And the answer is, "Do not ask me."  The
main reason for this second release was to break up the humongous tar
file into smaller ones.  I suppose I should have kept the new bitmaps
separate -- I certainly will do so in any future releases.  But for now,
if you want the new bitmaps you have to retrieve the whole collection.
Unless, of course, someone wants to volunteer to do the separation and
post a tar file somewhere.
