A few friends and I were planing to take some time off after Usenix and get some relaxation and exercise in the mountains of California. None of can agree on where we want to go -- I thought I'd draw on the pooled wisdom of the net and ask for suggestions about places that have available campsites on the week leading up to July 4... I have some suggestions of my own if other people care to ask, although I'm far more familiar with the mountains of Utah than those of California. Is anyone else planning a trip? If there's enough interest, we might be able to arrange something together. (A car shuttle might be nice for some backpack routes, in particular.) I really wanted to post this to soc.usenix and rec.hiking, Donn Seeley University of Utah CS Dept donn@cs.utah.edu 40 46' 6"N 111 50' 34"W (801) 581-5668 utah-cs!donn
