I couldn't unshar on Ms/dos using my ms/dos utilities, so tried it on Minix. What happened is after sh unshared 15 files, it appears to run out of file descriptors (got a can't make pipe error message). This fifteen number seems consistent and repeatable. I've had some problems with sh on different versions of Aztec C -- haven't analyzed whether they're Aztec bugs or sh bugs. What appears to be opening is the sh isn't closing an open fd. Has anyone else had this problem (was there a fix posted somewhere?) or should I assume it's an Aztec problem. Can't see how it's a OS problem (everything else is running pretty good [except I haven't yet been able to get ELLE to run]). marty leisner.henr@xerox.com
