Howdy, net folk.

I have suddenly been offered a sweet deal on a Seagate ST157N, so now I am 
quite upreparedly in the market for a SCSI hard disk controller for my B2000.  
I would like DMA and autoboot capability, and the ability to mount the drive 
hard-card style would be a plus.

I am first considering the Pacific Peripherals Overdrive, which seems to meet 
all my requirements and is nicely priced to boot (no pun intended).  Abel
advertises it for just under $200 (list $249, I think).

Then there's the Microbotics Hardframe/2000, which seems pretty darn similar,
but somewhat more expensive (list $329, don't know what I could get it for).

Naturally, I would like to hear from anyone who owns either of these regarding
the overall quality (any defects?), the performance, and quality of the
software and documentation.

I would also like to know about Pacific Peripherals, the company.  Are they
a good reliable company?  I would tend to lean towards their controller
(since it's cheaper and does everything I want) but I really don't know much
about them.  Do they have a good reputation for quality/customer service/etc.?
