I've been replying to the responces I've gotten, about a half dozen so far. I've had trouble reaching a few people so I thought I'd get a survey of who is and has been working on the next version of PDC. Jeff Lydiatt (who did the first port) is the only person that I know of. I got his message but was unable to respond. I propose that those of us who are working on PDC contact each other and try to merge all of the best features into a release version to go on a Fish disk. Since I have access to FTP this would be a good center for distribution, but it seems that most of the respondants don't have FTP access. Any suggestions on how to merge the different versions would be most welcome. -Paul Petersen University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign Center for Supercomputing Research and Development UUCP: {ihnp4,uunet,convex}!uiucuxc!uicsrd!petersen ARPANET: petersen%uicsrd@uxc.cso.uiuc.edu CSNET: petersen%uicsrd@uiuc.csnet BITNET: petersen@uicsrd.csrd.uiuc.edu
