Are you sure that the Serial Card was the OUTPUT and the Com Card the INPUT? Hooking up the Apple to an IBM (therefore canceling the need for a null modem, according to this philosophy) resulted in characters send from the IBM being caught by the Apple when using IN#n. However, sending characters when using PR#n on the Apple did NOT result in any characters produced on the IBM in terminal mode. {BTW, this is the Serial Card being discussed- I will save Com card problems until mine is finished :-) ). Using Kermit and AE Pro resulted in nothing at all, except a continuous stream of '{'s on the Apple end, when configured as a Com card. Any clues?
