I just found a small problem that probably has a simple few byte fix. I'm curious as to what error checking is done when Kermit opens up a file via the MLI for use as a save buffer. When I tell it to save to /Ram5, it works fine, but I usually keep /Ram5 set to zero after I got my PC Transporter board since I get a 768K ram disk /ramaepc. Normal use of it works fine with ProSel and other utilities. But, when I tell Kermit to save my buffer there, it freezes the machine up and prints the same message that occurs if you type PR#5 (Unable to Boot). It seems as if it's initializing the slot via $C500 via a shortcut. Does this sound as if I'm in the ballpark here? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Todd A. Bakal There's a sucker born every minute.
