Did any of this stuff ever get released? The Mega (2 and 4 Meg) were released, but no upgrade for 520's or 1040's, at least not from Atari. The blitter and upgraded OS was released, but I don't know what the volumes are like. I haven't heard whether you can get them for just any system. Atari is beta testing another OS upgrade. So you haven't missed much from Atari. (That's not a flame, just my opinion.) > Also, which are the latest mags for the ST computes. I sent The magazines that I know of are: STart (8 times a year), Atari Explorer (6 times), Reset (6 times), ST-Log (monthly). There are also newspaper types like ST World. Apparently Compute's ST will not be publiched any more (too bad). Current Notes (by the Washington Area Atari groups) is good. Personally, I like STart, Explorer, and Reset. I wasn't impressed with the last issue of ST-Log. Analog and Antic have some ST stuff, but they are mainly 8 bit magazines. What you really missed is some great software. If you're into games, get DungeonMaster. If not, look around. Anyway, welcome back to the ST world. -- Bob Deskin decvax!utzoo!dciem!nrcaer!cognos!bdeskin Cognos Incorporated P.O.
