Good sleuthing! (Is this Dr. Dobbs' brother?) Actually, STart mag had a reference to this Bob guy (as well as the church of the subhuman gardening utensils or whatever) in one of their early issues. On the 'tidbits' page (or whatever it's called). Speaking of the character set, can someone at Atari tell us why the hebraic (sp?) characters where chosen (in the upper half of the charset)? I can't believe that the number of people who actually use these characters approaches anywhere NEAR even 1% of the total number of ST owners (counter examples, anyone?). Why not use the same graphics characters as the IBM? Sometimes it's useful to be able to include nice charts & such in a text file, using these characters. In fact, forget about 'sometimes' -- it's quite FREQUENTLY useful to do so. *Sigh* -- -Jonathan A.
