(HAC always returned SCSI success status even if the SCSI controller (ADAPTEC 4000) signals an error) 2) Does anyone know, how far the DMA chip can address in memory ? e.g. forcing a FWRITE(...) from address $FC0000 (the ROM location) with more than 511 bytes produces garbage contents in the written file, same done with address $FC0000-1 correct contents. (assumed, the system copies first the ROM data into RAM space (because odd address) and then to the disk as the AHDI driver do it ) +---------------------------------------+ | BITNET: U0179 at DG0GWDG5 (W.Huebner) | | West Germany | +---------------------------------------+
