In particular, getty was not able to attach to port 1 (on the combo board). (I have a terminal connected to that port.) When I went back to the unfixed kernel/uucico things went back to normal. I have two questions: Could this be related to the "bad PROM on the combo board" bug that was discussed a while back? (Unrelated question) Do any of the fixes repair the bug in which fsck keeps getting free list errors, thus causing every reboot to be a double reboot? If so, which one, and does it break anything?
