One thing that'll be different is the way you do floating point. Apparently on 68010's you have to do some fairly complicated things to access the '881 and usually that stuff is in the run-time library. On the '020 it's easier and doesn't get put off into subroutines. The point being that your compiler'll have to be a bit different. (On the other hand -- doesn't gnu CC handle the '881 already?).
