They told me that they would be sending leeters out next week to all registered users to clue them into the procedure for getting the new stuff. There are some good points and some not-so-good points. 1: the upgrade is shipping later this month. This means we can all soon have our fondest desires (:-)) fulfilled. 2: source level debugging What more needs to be said? 3: it will come with a new manual No more futzing through 17 different addendums to addendums to additions to the manual. AND------------- 4: it will only cost (the upgrade, that is) $69.00!!!!! I may seriously think twice about getting it at this sort of price. The retail price is not going to change, so it doesn't do a whole lot of good to have bought it earlier waiting for 3.0. You can get a nw=ew one from MacConnection for only about $30.00 more than the upgrade. (And I bought it in Jan of '88 hoping for the upgrade, so I missed the Feb 1 deadline for the free one. Oh well.) I forgot to ask if it supports 68881 and 68020. Rich? Any word on that, now that it is semi-official?
