I have been having a problem with the Imagewriter I and IIs that I work
with here on campus...here are the symptoms:

Only one, really....The first line of a page is mangled.  Often, it is
split, so that say, for example, the first line of my message that
starts with `I have been...` is split in half up and down...or it is
condensed up and down...in either case, it is unreadabble..

Help?
