The whole point of a reduced upgrade fee is to reward previous and (supposedly) faithful users with a better deal than Joe Schmoe who is just off the street buying the program for the first time. I *DIDN"T* say that I felt that THINK was robbing us blind or anything, it's just that when I can walk down the street and buy a brand new LSC 2.15 which will be upgraded to 3.0 for free for _$75.00_ it is a little tought to swallow a $69.00 fee for the upgrade. And of course, if you want to talk (SSSHHHHH< He's going to say it >) PC market (GASSSP!! He said it! And in a Macintosh newsgroup no less!) you can get Turbo C for $67.00 from the mail places. Again, this is *NOT* a flame at THINK, it is not a "my Turbo C can beat hell out of your LSC compiler" war, it is just a comment on the term "upgrade." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "That's a very good question. I'm glad you asked that question. Next question, please."
