A year or so ago someone posted the PostScript smoothing routines which
would make a non-Apple PostScript printer respond to the Smoothing option
in the print dialogs in the Macintosh O/S.  It was a simple enough job to 
download them to the printer with a utility, and seemed to work O.K.
However, I've noticed since the release (a while ago) of Finder6.0/System4.2
with the v5.0 LW drivers, the smoothing option no longer worked with our
QMS-800+ laser printer.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this 
might be so?
