I've had the same problem's exactly! I have the exact same configuration as John and have experienced the exact same problems. Does this mean I can't run the new system software, but I thought the 128K roms in my machine were the same as the ROM's in a Mac Plus, at least that's what the advertisments for the Disk & ROM upgrade said.
