I also have a 512K->512KE->2 meg Dove upgraded Macintosh, but the System Tools 6.0 release works just fine on my machine. I noticed that someone else (David O'Rourke?) mentioned similar problems getting any term programs to work under 6.0, with an identical hardware setup. You didn't mention one thing, though: do you also have the Dove SCSI add-on port? I do... perhaps the new System needs to be able to find and initialize a SCSI port??? Comments? One other interesting item of note: the only other incompatibility I've ever run across which might be tied to the lack of a Macintosh Plus logic board is the fact that the "Macintosh SE Guided Tour" disk won't boot on my machine (it does boot on a 'regular' Plus). I can run it manually after starting up with another system, however. Disclaimer: I have more INITs in my System Folder than the mind can comfortably conceive.
