I set TMON to trap on _SIntInstall, and found that it appeared to have garbage in the registers. So I single stepped through the glue code, and found that it takes the arguments in the wrong order. Now for the strange part: I was using LightspeedC, not MPW! I was using 2.11, with a copy of SlotMgr.h from god only knows where.
