Gagliano (dmg@ADEA-ATT.ARPA) Anyone out there aware of any work done to generate multiple 3D perspective views in real-time? It would be used in a simulator, where the user could look out any of 12 windows at any time, and see the appropriate view for the window. Seems to me that the only way to achieve something like this with a reasonable cost is to have multiple low cost scene-generation machines, such as a PC-bus machine with transputers, duplicated enough times to achive all 12 views in real-time. My definition for real-time here is "flicker-free animation". If you know of any system out there that might meet these specs, I sure would appreciate your sending it my way.
