We have an 1108 running XDE, but we'd like to run ViewPoint to take advantage of its foreign text display capabilities. We have a large amount (several hundred MB) of foreign texts stored on our Apollo filesystem, which we would like to download to the Xerox after ViewPoint is installed. However, from the ViewPoint manuals I see no way to do this via the ethernet. We have a working version of TCP/IP under XDE, but files imported via XDE cannot be read from ViewPoint (as far as I know, but I'm no expert !) Basically, what I need to know is: 1) Is there TCP/IP support under ViewPoint ?? (current or planned) ?? 2) If not, is there any way to transfer files from my Apollo to the Xerox running ViewPoint ?? Any help is greatly appreciated.
