Does anyone know what NDE, the NeWS Development Environment, is all about?
Sun says that specs should be out this summer, but aside from that, the best
we've gotten from them is mumbling about an object-oriented system that borrows
from Smalltalk-80 and the Andrew Toolkit.

I've got some specific questions:  What's the model of usage for NDE?  Is it
client-side callable routines that talk with routines on the server side?
Does it include some sort of a langauge that is translated into PostScript
and that then runs on the server?  Does it have any relation to the Lite*
stuff in NeWS 1.1?

Any and all facts are welcome.
