Mark Eichin was kind enough to send me a copy of Claus Gittinger's 'xfed' --
an X11 font editor.  I tried it on a few X11 fonts and got some errors, so
I patched it up a (very) little.  The new version is on
	csvax.caltech.edu  in either ~ftp/pub or uucppublic under xfed.tar.Z
