I have 6 Seagate full height ST506 5 megabyte drive that need a home.
Rumor has it that a good use for these is in a multiuser or bbs
environment as a safe place to keep system software.
Load the drive, disable the "write gate" and with 'bridging software (?)'
cause the system drive to look like (an unwriteable) section of a larger
drive.


I would be willing to sell for dollars or trade for a larger disk and/or
tape backup to keep my (ibm clone) pc happy.

These disks are virtually new. they have been low and high level formated
under ms dos 2.0 and chkdsk reports no bad sectors.
