Milton) Organization: Just me and my computer, Columbus Ohio Lines: 17 I have not yet heard anyone describe this problem: The system seems to be running just fine. When I try to cu or uucico out over the OBM, setgetty returns very quickly without haveing done it's job. The getty can be killed off by doing everything by hand. Is this caused by bugs introduced into the 3.51a kernel? I switched back to 3.51 just in case. When the system is installed from floppy, the root directory, / is 777. From a security standpoint this is stupid. The real question is: Does the UNIXpc need root writable by everyone?
