I am sure that this has been covered, but I have just started to read this
group (cause I just got this telebit!):  when I connect to a 2400 or 1200 
baud modem (while in slow mode), my telebit hangs while attempting to drop
the connection.  I am sure that I need to set a software switch on the modem,
but I don't know which, and figured you could help me out -
