Lines: 24 I've been asked to select a PROLOG system to run on a DEC VAX under VMS. This is for a commercial project, so stuff which Universities distribute free for non-commercial use won't do. I need to know: * What syntax it uses - especially, how like Quintus it is. * What the 'foreign function interface' is like. * Roughly what the performance is like. * What the programmer's environment is like - and how much you like using it. * How robust it is - and any points to watch... * What it costs and from whom (UK supplier if possible ??) Mail me, and I'll summarise if there's any demand - many thanks, all - Oh, and one last thought: I can't easily mail to the States - so I can't reply directly; sorry. ** Simon Brooke ********************************************************* * e-mail : simon@uk.ac.lancs.comp * * surface: Dept of Computing, University of Lancaster, LA 1 4 YW, UK. * * * * Thought for today: the universe is not only stranger than we imagine, * ******************** it is stranger than we can imagine [Hoyle]**********
