Excuse me, but you have made a mistake.  While it is true that
the final resolution of any difference of opinion is enforced by
the state, the opinion which is enforced by the state is NOT
determined by who has the bigger stick.  Rather, a complicated
process comprised of reasons, demagoguery, brute force, and all
the other elements of our political system results in this
determination.  Not all of these can be reduced to "Power ...
from the barrel of a gun."
