Whatever happened to NEXT, Inc., the startup founded by the ex-Apple
founder Jobs, of Jobs and Wozniak (similar to Martin and Lewis) fame?

News of NEXT has faded from the front pages and all I remember is that
announcements and deadlines passed by or were redefined while nothing
ever hit the marketplace.

Did NEXT fold?  Are they still going strong?  Any rumors as to what
they will produce?  The original pronouncements were for the "NEXT"
generation of workstations for the personal/professional/educational
markets.
